The design of Driftwood Deckhaus is a celebration of the dichotomy that is Galveston. A modern, wide-open floor plan yet furnishings are all fabricated from reclaimed boat wood and marine materials in order to celebrate Galveston's nautical history and influence. A full gourmet kitchen with porcelain farmhouse sink, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances with everything needed even for the pickiest chef. The spa-like wet room with marble vessel sink and bespoke 9' high rain shower with river rock flooring is a retreat. Right outside your front door is a large, shared deck complete with an outdoor kitchen. The outdoor stainless-steel sink and high-end electric grill will make sure your group stays full. There is plenty of lounging space on the outdoor deck with a large sectional and fire pit/table to eat or watch the flames which creates the perfect outdoor ambiance to create your perfect Galveston memories.
In the center of everything with the beach and a plethora of Seawall restaurants, bars and entertainment blocks away. The Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier is an easy 20 minute walk along the beach. The Galveston Island Convention Center is a 4 minute drive away and the Port of Galveston is a 10 minute ride.
Guests are required to fill out online/digital registration form, submit a picture of a government ID and digitally sign a Rental Agreement 7 days before check in or immediately after booking if less than 7 days before check in.
Smoking cigarettes or pot inside the apartment is prohibited and you will be asked to leave if you violate it
Please take your shoes off inside the apartment and pets must have toe nails clipped neatly
Pets and Emotional Support Animals require permission from host and payment of pet fee starting at $30/night for one pet.
Service animals are allowed for free but must be with guest at all times and please answer the following question for host: Do you require this service animal due to a disability? What work or tasks has the service animal been trained to perform?
Visitors and extra guests not included in the reservation are not allowed inside the building without host's permission and will be asked to leave the property and/or will be subject to extra guest fee of $40 per guest per night over two.

Before check out please strip sheets and comforters from used beds and wash dirty dishes by hand or run a load in the dishwasher
Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am daily. Please speak softly and keep TV volume low during these hours to prevent disturbing neighboring units.
